Richard Jernigan, a native Pensacolan, is a Professor of Music at Pensacola State University. Richard received his AA from Pensacola State College, a BA from the University of West Florida and earned his MA degree from Louisiana State University. A professional musician, he plays clarinet for the Pensacola and Mobile Symphonies. Richard loves sailing on Pensacola Bay, or trail riding with his chestnut mare, Bitsy.
